In 2016, her duet received 1st place runner-up at the same national competition. She was also a cheerleader and held the title of captain in her 2015 football season of cheerleading. Cierra now attends IUPUI as a pre-nursing student. She hopes to one day become a pediatric nurse at Riley’s Children Hospital.

About the Program:

Competitive dance requires a lot of commitment and time spent in the studio. Students will be required to learn 1-3 routines and will compete these at local and national levels. This program will teach students to become a part of a team and work with others to build trust and create friendships between other students and the instructor. Competitive dance gives you the opportunity to show your talent to award winning judges and express yourself through dance on the stage and in the studio. Though it requires hard work, time, and commitment, this program is still directed in a way to create a fun learning environment.

The competition season will begin in January of 2018 and last until approximately July 2018. All competitions will be held within the state of Indiana and may require some travel time, but most will be held in the Indianapolis area.
